Department Overview
Panchakarma – the five modes of bio purification is the unique weapon of Ayurveda in tackling diseases as well as in their prevention. The Department of Panchakarma has undergone significant updates to enhance its educational offerings and clinical services.
Panchakarma, a unique Ayurvedic approach, focuses on detoxification and rejuvenation through specialized therapies. Our department aims to make the students well versed in the Panchakarma procedures. They should be able to perform the procedures as well as know when and where each procedure should be utilized.
Our department’s commitment to providing quality education and effective patient care while expanding its reach through satellite clinics and community outreach programs.

Academic Activities
- The department runs OPD all day from 9 am – 4 pm along with clinical training to final BAMS students.
- Marma- Asthi Speciality Clinic
- Diagnosing diseases through Nadi Pareeksha and Providing Other therapies like Cupping Therapy, Marma Therapy, Agni Karma and all other Keraleeya Panchakarma therapies.
ACADEMIC
- Regular classes and Clinical training sessions for students
- Regular therapy improvement sessions to panchakarma therapists
- Documenting the cases and adverse reactions of various Panchakarma procedures
- Conductance of Rithu Shodhana therapy like Vasanthik Vamana, Sarad Virechana and required documentation
